Usage and Dosage

Adults must take 14mg/day. However, labels generally do not necessarily indicate the amount of active ingredients per tablet, but must indicate the two indicators of "net content/tablet" and "active ingredient content per 100g". If there is no such indication, do not consider buying it. If the net content of each tablet is 250mg, and the active ingredient (such as vitamin E) content per 100g is 1g, which means that the vitamin E content is 1%, then the active ingredient content of each capsule = 250×1%=2.5mg. According to the required amount for adults, it is 2.5mg×6=15mg, and 6 tablets must be taken per day.

Adverse Reactions

⒈ Vitamin E has anticoagulant activity. Long-term high-dose intake can increase the risk of hemorrhagic stroke. ⒉ Low-dose intake of vitamin E has an antioxidant effect, but when taken in large doses, it may no longer have antioxidant activity. At this time, vitamin E becomes a pro-oxidant. ⒊ High-dose intake of vitamin E can hinder the absorption and function of other fat-soluble vitamins.
