Tetanus immune globulin

Pharmacological action: This product contains high titer tetanus antibodies, which can neutralize tetanus toxin, thereby preventing and treating tetanus infection. Toxicological study: Not yet clear

Main ingredients: Tetanus human immunoglobulin. This product is made by collecting plasma with high tetanus antibody titer from healthy blood donors after adsorption of tetanus vaccine, extracting it by low-temperature ethanol protein separation method, and inactivating the virus by pasteurization method. Excipients: glycine.

This product is a colorless or light yellow clear liquid, which may have opalescence and should not be turbid.

Mainly used for the prevention and treatment of tetanus, especially for those who have allergic reactions to tetanus antitoxin (TAT)

Usage: For intramuscular injection in the buttocks, no skin test is required, and it cannot be used for intravenous injection. Dosage: 1. Preventive dose: 250 IU for children and adults. Double the dose for severe wounds or serious wound contamination. 2. Reference therapeutic dose: 3000-6000 IU, use up as soon as possible, and inject at multiple points

Generally there are no adverse reactions. Very few people experience redness, swelling, and pain, which can recover on their own without special treatment.

It is contraindicated for patients with a history of allergy to human immunoglobulin products.
