Carvedilol
Indication
It is an α and β receptor blocker. It has a vasodilating effect while blocking the receptors. It is used to treat mild and moderate hypertension or hypertension patients with renal insufficiency and diabetes.
Precautions
1. Patients with NYHA grade IV decompensated heart failure who need intravenous positive inotropic drugs are contraindicated; 2. Patients with bronchospasm (two cases of patients with persistent asthma who died after taking a single dose of carvedilol) or related bronchospasm are contraindicated; 3. Patients with second-degree or third-degree atrioventricular block are contraindicated; 4. Patients with sick sinus syndrome are contraindicated; 5. Patients with cardiogenic shock are contraindicated; 6. Patients with severe bradycardia are contraindicated; 7. Carvedilol can only be used in pregnant women when its benefits to the fetus outweigh its risks. It is unclear whether it is secreted into human breast milk; 8. Patients with clinically severe liver function
