Appearance
This product is orange-red crystal, odorless. The melting point is 111°C. It is practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, soluble in pyridine, chloroform, benzene, slightly soluble in ether, acetone, alcohol, acetic acid. It has a strong bitter taste.
Indication
Promoting bile secretion: treating cholecystitis, cholangitis, cholelithiasis and hypercholesterolemia; protecting liver: treating acute and chronic hepatitis, early cirrhosis; promoting digestion: treating abdominal distension, constipation, bad breath, nausea, dull pain and other digestive discomforts.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults, 1 tablet 3 times a day, or as directed by a physician; Children aged 5-10, 1-2 tablets a day; Children aged 10-15, 2-3 tablets a day.
Adverse Reactions
Urticarial erythema occasionally occurs.
