This product is a central anticholinergic anti-Parkinson's disease drug that selectively blocks the cholinergic nerve pathways in the striatum, but has less effect on the periphery, thus helping to restore the balance of dopamine and acetylcholine in the brain of Parkinson's patients and improve the patients' Parkinson's disease symptoms.

Appearance
This product is white tablets.
Indication
It is used for Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's syndrome. It can also be used for extrapyramidal disorders caused by drugs.
Usage and Dosage
Oral. Parkinson's disease and Parkinson's syndrome: start with 1-2 mg per day, then increase by 2 mg every 3-5 days until the best effect is achieved without side effects. Generally, no more than 10 mg per day, divided into 3-4 doses, must be taken for a long time. The maximum daily dose is 20 mg. Drug-induced extrapyramidal disorders: 2-4 mg on the first day, divided into 2-3 doses, then gradually increase to 5-10 mg according to needs and tolerance. Elderly patients should reduce the dose as appropriate.
Adverse Reactions
Common symptoms include dry mouth, blurred vision, etc., and occasionally tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, urinary retention, constipation, etc. Long-term use may cause drowsiness, depression, memory loss, hallucinations, and clouded consciousness.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with glaucoma, urinary retention, and prostatic hypertrophy.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Use with caution. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution. Precautions for the elderly: Long-term use in the elderly is likely to induce glaucoma. People with arteriosclerosis are prone to mental confusion, disorientation, anxiety, hallucinations and psychotic symptoms when taking the commonly used doses of anti-Parkinson's disease drugs. Use with caution.
Drug Interactions
(1) When this product is used in combination with ethanol or other central nervous system depressants, the central nervous system depressant effect can be enhanced. (2) When this product is used in combination with adamantane, anticholinergic drugs, monoamine oxidase inhibitors such as pargyline and procarbazine, the anticholinergic effect can be enhanced and paralytic ileus can occur. (3) When this product is used in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, it can cause hypertension. (4) When this product is used in combination with antacids or adsorbent antidiarrheal agents, the effect of this product can be weakened. (5) When this product is used in combination with chlorpromazine, the latter's metabolism is accelerated, which can reduce its blood drug concentration. (6) When this product is used in combination with cardiac glycosides, the latter can prolong their residence time in the gastrointestinal tract, increase absorption, and be prone to poisoning.
