1. Anti-tumor effect Huachansu 3g/kg has an anti-tumor effect on mouse transplanted tumors S180, sarcoma, and H22 liver cancer, and has a tendency to prolong the life of L1210 leukemia mice. The inhibition rate of Huachansu 7.5g/kg on rat W256 is 63.7%. In vitro drug tests show that Huachansu 2mg/ml has a killing effect on three digestive system tumor strains (human liver cancer SMMC-7721, human gastric cancer MKN45, and human colon LOVE), and its mechanism is to directly kill tumor cell DNA and cause tumor cell necrosis. From the molecular level, Huachansu has the effect of increasing the cAMP content in the plasma of H22 liver cancer-bearing mice and restoring the cAMP/cGMP value to normal. The inhibition rate of Huachansu alone on S180 and sarcoma mice is 35.5%, and the inhibition rate is increased to 71% after combined use with CTX, and the therapeutic effect is better than that of CTX alone, indicating that the combined use of Huachansu and CTX has a synergistic effect. Clinical data also show that the combined use of Huachansu with 5-Fu, CTX, MTX, and VCR has a synergistic effect. The efficacy of chemotherapy combined with Huachansu is better than that of single drug treatment, and can reduce the toxic side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. 2. Immunopromoting effect Huachansu has a preventive and therapeutic effect on leukopenia caused by CTX, can increase the lymphocyte ratio of mice, and can also increase the content of IgG, IgA, and IgM in mouse serum; experimental data also show that Huachansu has the function of enhancing humoral immunity and cellular immunity. 3.
