It is mainly used for ventricular arrhythmias, such as ventricular premature beats or supraventricular premature beats, and arrhythmias caused by heart surgery. Especially ventricular tachycardia caused by digitalis poisoning. But it is ineffective for atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter; it has poor efficacy for atrial arrhythmias. 2. It is an anti-epileptic drug that can prevent the spread of abnormal potential activities in brain lesions to the surrounding normal brain tissue, and play an anti-epileptic role. It accelerates the conduction of the atrioventricular node and is an anti-epileptic and anti-arrhythmic drug. It is suitable for the treatment of generalized tonic-clonic seizures, complex partial seizures (psychomotor seizures, temporal lobe epilepsy), simple partial seizures (localized seizures) and status epilepticus. It can also be used to treat trigeminal neuralgia, recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, paroxysmal choreoathetosis, paroxysmal control disorders (including behavioral disorders such as anger, anxiety and insomnia due to excessive excitement), myotonia and cardiac conduction disorders in case of overdose of tricyclic antidepressants. This product is also suitable for ventricular and supraventricular arrhythmias caused by digitalis poisoning, and has poor efficacy on arrhythmias caused by various other reasons.

Adult oral administration: 0.1-0.2g each time, 3 times a day. Intravenous injection: The usual dose is 0.125-0.25g added to 20-40ml of 0.9% sodium chloride injection, and slowly injected intravenously within 5-15 minutes (no more than 50mg per minute). If necessary, repeat the intravenous injection of 100mg every 5-10 minutes, and the total amount within 2 hours shall not exceed 0.5g. Intramuscular injection: 0.2-0.4g per day, divided into 4-6 doses.

1 Pregnant women should use with caution; patients with hypotension, bradycardia, high-degree atrioventricular block, congestive heart failure, severe myocardial damage, diabetes and allergic reactions should not use it. 2 Check blood count regularly. 3 The dosage should be gradually reduced and then discontinued during medication. 4 Its effect can be enhanced by dicoumarol, disulfiram and isoniazid. 5 It should not be used in combination with acidic drugs, nor should it be dissolved with glucose injection to avoid precipitation. 6 Because this product is highly alkaline, it stimulates the stomach and causes gastrointestinal reactions such as gastric ulcer, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, etc., occasionally dizziness, insomnia, mental tension, and severe cases can cause mental confusion, rash, leukopenia, liver damage, gingival hyperplasia, osteoporosis and teratogenesis.

Contraindications: Patients with a history of allergy to hydantoins or those with heart function impairment such as Ass syndrome, II-III degree atrioventricular block, sinus node block, sinus bradycardia, etc.

The combined use of this product with enzyme inducers such as phenobarbital can reduce the plasma concentration of this product.
