Pharmacological studies have shown that this product is a Ca2 antagonist with high selectivity for cerebral blood vessels. It blocks the influx of Ca2 in brain cells, inhibits the contraction of vascular smooth muscles, increases cerebral blood flow, and has a neuroprotective effect, protecting the brain from damage caused by ischemia, reperfusion, and hypoxia. In addition, this product can non-competitively inhibit the contraction of brain and peripheral arterial vessels induced by K, PGF2alpha, and 5-hydroxytryptamine, and inhibit neuroinflammation such as plasma protein exudation caused by trigeminal nerve stimulation, thereby preventing the occurrence of migraine and having a preventive and therapeutic effect on migraine.

The main ingredient is Lomerizine hydrochloride.

This product is a hard capsule, and the contents are off-white granules or powder.

This product is suitable for the prevention and treatment of migraine.

Orally, take after breakfast and dinner or before bedtime, 5 mg of lomerizine hydrochloride each time, twice a day.

Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, fever, loss of appetite, increased GOT, GPT, γ-GTP, and LDH, etc. The incidence of side effects is low, the toxicity is low, and the tolerance is good.

1. It is contraindicated for patients with a history of allergic reaction to this product; 2. It is contraindicated for patients in the acute stage of cerebral infarction, intracranial hemorrhage or with coagulation tendency; 3. It is contraindicated for pregnant women or women who may become pregnant.

Similar compounds (such as flunarizine hydrochloride) can easily cause extrapyramidal symptoms and depression in elderly patients after administration, so during the medication process of elderly patients, the reaction needs to be closely monitored. Once abnormal conditions are found, the administration should be stopped and appropriate treatment methods should be taken.

Concomitant use of antihypertensive drugs may cause enhanced interactions and appropriate treatment should be adopted.
