This product is first converted into 5-fluoro-2-deoxyuridine nucleotide in the body, which inhibits thymine nucleotide synthetase, blocking the conversion of deoxyuridine nucleotide into deoxythymine nucleotide, thereby inhibiting the biosynthesis of DNA. In addition, it can also be incorporated into RNA, and inhibit RNA synthesis by preventing uracil and orotic acid from incorporating into RNA. This product is a cell cycle-specific drug, mainly inhibiting S-phase tumor cells. Oleic acid has a synergistic effect with fluorouracil in the prescription. Ginseng polysaccharide, as an immunostimulant, has a promoting effect on the body's immune function and prevents the toxic and side effects of fluorouracil on the body.

The product is an oral solution mainly made of fluorouracil and ginseng polysaccharide. The fluorouracil (C4H3FN2O2) content should be 90.0% to 110.0% of the labeled amount. The prescription is 4g of fluorouracil, 8g of ginseng polysaccharide, 20g of soybean lecithin, and an appropriate amount of water, a total of 1000ml.

Nausea, loss of appetite or vomiting, usually not serious at the dose, oral mucosal inflammation or ulcers, abdominal discomfort or diarrhea are occasionally seen.
