Glucosamine Sulfate Capsules
Function and Efficacy
Glucosamine is an amino monosaccharide present in the body, especially in articular cartilage. It is an important component necessary for the synthesis of proteoglycans in the matrix of human articular cartilage. It selectively acts on bone joints, blocks the pathological process of osteoarthritis, stimulates chondrocytes to produce glycoproteins with normal polymer structures, and can also inhibit the activity of enzymes that damage cartilage, such as collagenase and phospholipase A2, and inhibit the production of superoxide free radicals that damage cells, prevent corticosteroids and certain non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs from damaging chondrocytes, and reduce the release of endotoxin factors that damage cells. Through the above pathways, this product has a direct anti-inflammatory effect, can relieve the pain symptoms of osteoarthritis, improve joint function, and prevent the development of osteoarthritis.
