Minoxidil is a peripheral vasodilator that can stimulate hair growth in patients with male pattern baldness and alopecia areata when used topically for a long time. The exact mechanism by which this product treats hair loss is unknown. Clinical studies have shown that when used topically in normotensive and untreated hypertensive patients, no systemic effects due to absorption of minoxidil were observed.

Appearance
This product is a colorless or slightly yellow clear liquid.
Indication
This product is used to treat male pattern baldness and alopecia areata.
Usage and Dosage
Topical use: 1 ml each time (minoxidil 50 mg, about 7 sprays), apply to the affected area of the head, start from the center of the affected area, and massage with your hands for 3 to 5 minutes. Regardless of the size of the affected area, use this dose. The total amount per day should not exceed 2 ml. This product should be used when the hair and scalp are completely dry. Wash your hands after using this product.
Adverse Reactions
The most common adverse reaction of this product in clinical practice is mild dermatitis of the scalp. Occasionally, the following adverse reactions have been reported after using this product, but the causal relationship between the use and the product is not clear. These adverse reactions include irritant dermatitis (redness, dandruff and burning pain), nonspecific allergic reactions, wheals, allergic rhinitis, facial swelling, allergies, shortness of breath, headache, neuritis, dizziness, syncope, vertigo, edema, chest pain, changes in blood pressure, palpitations and changes in pulse rate.
Precautions
Do not use if you are allergic to minoxidil or any of its ingredients.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Use with caution. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant women should use this product with caution. Minoxidil can be passed from the mother to the child during the lactation process, so breastfeeding mothers should not use it. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly people over 65 years old should use this product with caution.
Drug Interactions
lIt is not clear whether the use of 5% hydronodil tincture is accompanied by drug interactions. Although there is no clinical evidence, postural hypotension may still exist in patients taking peripheral vasodilators at the same time. 2If you are using other medicines, please consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
