Mechanism of action: factors such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery can cause enterochromaffin cells to release 5HTTrarr; 5HT can activate the 5HT3 receptors of the central nervous system or vagus nerve and cause vomiting reflexrarr; Granisetron hydrochloride antagonizes the 5HT3 receptors of the central chemoreceptor area and peripheral vagus nerve endingsrarr; inhibits the occurrence of nausea and vomiting; 4. This product has high selectivity and has no side effects such as extrapyramidal reactions and excessive sedation.

Used for nausea and vomiting caused by radiotherapy and cytotoxic chemotherapy.

For intravenous drip, the adult dose is usually 3 mg, given 30 minutes before treatment. Most patients only need to take the drug once, and the preventive effect on nausea and vomiting can last for more than 24 hours. If necessary, the dose can be increased by 1-2 times, but the maximum daily dose should not exceed 9 mg.

Common side effects include headache, fatigue, fever, constipation, and occasional transient asymptomatic increase in liver transaminases. The reaction is mild and can be recovered without special treatment.
