Secnidazole tablets
Function and Efficacy
[Pharmacology and Toxicology] Huperzine A is a cholinesterase inhibitor, which has a selective inhibitory effect on acetylcholinesterase and can easily pass through the blood-brain barrier. It has the effects of promoting memory retrieval, enhancing memory retention and strengthening muscle contraction strength. [Pharmacokinetics] Due to the extremely small dosage of Huperzine A, there is currently no effective method for drug detection in human pharmacokinetic studies. Studies using rats iv and ig [3H] labeled Huperzine A showed that the pharmacokinetics is an open two-compartment model. iv: t1/2α=6.6min, t1/2szlig;=149min; ig: t1/2α=9.8min, t1/2szlig;=247.5min. The blood drug concentration reaches its peak 21 minutes after ig, the bioavailability is 96.9%, and the 24-hour urine excretion is 73.2% of the dose. Some of it is metabolized into products with greater water solubility and excreted. The plasma protein binding rate is low, at 17±4%. According to the same intensity of action, the ig dose of Huperzine A is about twice that of iv.
