Function and Efficacy
① Antibacterial and antiviral: This product has a significant inhibitory effect on a variety of pathogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, Streptococcus B and Escherichia coli; it has an in vivo anti-infection effect, and can reduce lung damage in infected mice and prolong survival time. The in vitro antibacterial experiment of 11 common ophthalmic pathogens using a certain concentration of baicalin solution showed that baicalin has different degrees of antibacterial effect on a variety of common bacteria in clinical ophthalmology. ② Anti-inflammatory effect: This product can significantly inhibit the biosynthesis of intracellular leukotriene B4 and leukotriene C4, and can also significantly inhibit the increase of Ca2 in leukocytes stimulated by artificial tripeptide (fMLP), and promote the increase of intracellular cAMP level, indicating that this drug significantly affects the various functions of leukocytes and reveals its anti-inflammatory mechanism. ③ This product has been studied for many times in toxicology, and no obvious toxic reactions were found. No obvious delayed toxic reactions were observed after 2 weeks of drug withdrawal. It is suggested that this product is safe according to clinical dosage, usage and course of treatment.
