Sodium Potassium Glucose Injection

This product is a colorless or slightly yellow clear liquid.

This product is a compound preparation, and its main components per 1000ml are: 1.12g sodium lactate, 1.17g sodium chloride, 0.60g potassium chloride, and 37.5g glucose.

1. Replenish energy and body fluids; used for insufficient food intake or large amounts of body fluid loss (such as vomiting, diarrhea, etc.) caused by various reasons, total intravenous nutrition, and starvation ketosis; 2. Used to treat hypoglycemia; 3. Used to treat hyperkalemia; 4. Hypertonic solutions are used as tissue dehydrating agents; 5. Used to prepare peritoneal dialysis fluids; 6. Used as drug diluents; 7. Used for intravenous glucose tolerance tests; 8. Used to prepare GIK (polarizing fluid) fluids.

Usually, adults receive 500-1000 ml of intravenous drip at a rate of 300-500 ml/hour (about 80-130 drops/minute), and children receive 50-100 ml/hour. The dosage can be increased or decreased according to age, symptoms, and weight.

This product has no clear frequency of occurrence. If adverse reactions occur, stop administration and deal with them appropriately. Rapid administration of large amounts: Brain edema, pulmonary edema, edema of nerve endings, and water intoxication have occurred when large amounts of drugs are administered rapidly.
