Function and Efficacy
This product is a benzofuran derivative and a uricosuric drug. Its mechanism of action is mainly to inhibit the reabsorption of uric acid by the renal tubules, thereby reducing the concentration of uric acid in the blood.

Appearance
This product is in the form of capsules.
Indication
Simple primary hyperuricemia and non-attack period of gouty arthritis.
Usage and Dosage
The usual dosage for adults starts with a small dose, 25 mg (half a tablet) a day, and can be gradually increased to 100 mg (2 tablets) a day if there is no adverse reaction. Take it after breakfast, and take 3g of sodium bicarbonate a day at the same time.
Adverse Reactions
1 Gastrointestinal reactions: nausea and abdominal discomfort. 2 Causes kidney stones and renal colic. 3 Induce acute arthritis. 4 Rarely, fever, rash, and liver or kidney damage.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with moderate to severe renal impairment and kidney stones.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: The safety and effectiveness of this product for children have not been studied, so it is not recommended for children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant and lactating women are prohibited from using this product. Precautions for the elderly: The physiological functions of the elderly generally decline, so the dosage should be reduced or follow the doctor's advice.
Drug Interactions
The uricosuric effect of this product can be weakened by salicylates and offset by the anti-tuberculosis drug pyrazinamide (mainly excreted through glomerular filtration).
