Nifuratel Tablets

Meminol is a chemical synthetic agent synthesized by the research laboratory of Puli Chemical Industry Company. Meminol has a strong and effective killing effect on bacteria, protozoa and fungi that cause female reproductive system infections, but rarely produces any acute or chronic side effects. Due to its multi-faceted therapeutic effects, Meminol can be used for various vaginitis caused by bacteria, trichomonas or fungal infections. Experiments have shown that nifuratel has very little toxic reaction in acute animal toxicology experiments, so much so that the oral LD50 (half lethal dose) obtained from rabbits is 1500 times its therapeutic dose. Rabbits showed no toxic reaction after taking 450 mg/kg/day (equivalent to 20 times the therapeutic dose) orally for 47 days. In a 6-month chronic toxicology experiment, dogs took 10 times the human therapeutic dose orally every day without toxic reaction or blood phase changes. Pregnant mice and rabbits took 100 mg/kg/day and 200 mg/kg/day orally, respectively; no teratogenic or fertility changes occurred. Therefore, it can also be used for pregnant women. Subcutaneous injection of 3000 times the therapeutic dose has no toxic reaction. It is basically not absorbed by the skin and vaginal mucosa after in vitro administration.

Main ingredients: Nifuratel

Light yellow, duck tongue shaped vaginal tablets

Treat vulvar and vaginal infections, leucorrhea and urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal amebiasis and giardiasis caused by bacteria, Trichomonas, fungi and Candida.

Vaginal infection: 1 tablet (200 mg) 3 times a day, orally for 7 consecutive days, take after meals, it is recommended that couples take it at the same time. Urinary tract infection: Adults, 3-6 tablets/day, take it continuously for an average of 1-2 weeks (depending on the severity and nature of the infection); children, 10-20 mg/kg body weight/day, take it orally twice, and take it continuously for an average of 1-2 weeks (depending on the severity and nature of the infection). Gastrointestinal amebiasis: Adults, 2 tablets each time, 3 times a day, orally for 10 consecutive days; children, 15 mg/kg body weight/time.

Large-scale clinical use of this product rarely produces acute or chronic adverse reactions.

Patients who are allergic to nifuratel are contraindicated.

Precautions for children: Yes, no special requirements. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: No special regulations, pregnant women can use it. Precautions for the elderly: Yes, no special requirements.

Nifuratel is very effective in inhibiting vaginal Trichomonas, Escherichia coli, and Candida. Its in vitro efficacy against Entamoeba histolytica is compared with that of emetine hydrochloride, clitoxamide, and metronidazole. The minimum effective doses are 1.2, 36.0, 0.8, and 6.0 ug/ml, respectively. Nifuratel is not absorbed through the skin and vaginal mucosa when administered in vitro.
