Dosimol Tablets
Function and Efficacy
Dosimab ester is a gastric mucosal protective drug, and its mode of action is the same as that of sucralfate, acting directly on the gastric mucosa without anti-secretory effect. Dosimab ester forms a protective film covering the mucosal surface, and at the same time generates a pepsin complex to reduce damage; it also increases the concentration of PGE2 in gastric juice. [Pharmacokinetics] Dosimab ester is virtually not absorbed after oral administration in rats, and no dosimab ester was detected in the plasma or urine of the administered animals; 12 hours after oral administration, it can actually be completely recovered in the feces, and the excretion half-life is 5-6 hours. Human studies have also shown that after oral administration of dosimab ester, the acidic organic part of the dosimab ester structure was not detected at a significant level in any plasma sample by HPLC. After oral administration of 8g of dosimab ester, the cumulative clearance in urine was less than 0.04% within 72 hours, and the detection limit was 0.1μg/ml.
