Function and Efficacy

Appearance
This product is orange-red crystal, odorless. The melting point is 111°C. It is practically insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, soluble in pyridine, chloroform, benzene, slightly soluble in ether, acetone, alcohol, acetic acid. It has a strong bitter taste.
Indication
Promoting bile secretion: treating cholecystitis, cholangitis, cholelithiasis and hypercholesterolemia; protecting liver: treating acute and chronic hepatitis, early cirrhosis; promoting digestion: treating abdominal distension, constipation, bad breath, nausea, dull pain and other digestive discomforts.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, 25 mg at a time, 3 times a day, or as directed by a physician.
Adverse Reactions
1 Allergic reaction: Occasionally, urticaria-like erythema may occur, which disappears upon discontinuation of the drug. It may cause allergic reactions such as fever and headache. 2 Digestive system: Gastrointestinal reactions such as abdominal distension, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, and bowel sounds may occur. 3 Urinary system: It may cause urine discoloration. 4 Endocrine system: Long-term use may cause hyperthyroidism.
