Diosmin Tablets
Function and Efficacy
This product is a drug that enhances venous tone and a vascular protective agent. 1. Pharmacology The drug exerts its active effects on the venous vascular system in the following ways: 1.1 Reduces venous distensibility and venous blood stasis. 1.2 In the microcirculatory system, it normalizes the permeability of the capillary wall and enhances its resistance. 2. Clinical Pharmacology In humans, a double-blind controlled study method was used to verify and quantitatively show the effect of the drug on venous hemodynamics. The results showed that it has the following pharmacological characteristics. 2.1 Dose-effect relationship The parameters of venous volume plethysmography, including capacity, distensibility and emptying rate, have been measured. The dose-effect relationship with statistical significance has been determined. Taking 2 tablets can obtain the best dose-effect ratio. 2.2 Venous Tonicity Effect Diosmin can enhance venous tone: the change in parameters of venous occlusion volume plethysmography measured by mercury tensiometer shows that its emptying rate is reduced. 2.3 Microcirculatory effect A double-blind controlled study was conducted on patients with capillary fragility, and the changes in their fragility were measured using the vascular tension measurement method. The results showed that the difference between diosmin and placebo in improving capillary fragility was statistically significant.
