This product is a compound preparation of aminoglycoside antibacterial agents and adrenocortical hormones. Neomycin sulfate has strong antibacterial activity against aerobic Gram-negative bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Proteus, Shigella, Serratia, Salmonella, etc. It also has certain antibacterial activity against Alcaligenes, Moraxella, Citrobacter, Acinetobacter, Brucella, Haemophilus and Mycobacterium. It has poor effect on Gram-negative cocci such as gonococci and meningococci; it has weak effect on various groups of streptococci (such as group A streptococci, grass viridans streptococci, and pneumococci). Its mechanism of action is that it can pass through the bacterial cell membrane and bind to the special receptor protein of the bacterial ribosome 30S subunit, interfering with the formation of the initiation complex between the information RNA and the 30S subunit, causing DNA to be misread, resulting in the synthesis of non-functional proteins, causing the polysaccharide to split, unable to synthesize proteins, breaking the bacterial cell membrane, and bacterial death. Hydrocortisone acetate for external use has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antipruritic and exudation-reducing effects. It can be absorbed through the skin, especially faster in damaged skin. It is metabolized in the liver and excreted in the urine.

This product is a compound preparation, its components are: 5000 units of neomycin sulfate and 10 mg of hydrocortisone acetate per gram.

This product is used for purulent skin diseases such as impetigo, burns, ulcers and allergic dermatitis

For topical use, apply appropriate amount to the affected area, 1-2 times a day.

1. Less common symptoms include hearing loss, tinnitus or fullness in the ears (ototoxicity) - staggering gait, dizziness or unsteady gait (ototoxicity: affects the vestibule); significant decrease in urine output or frequency of urination, or extreme thirst (nephrotoxicity). 2. Attention should be paid to the following conditions if they persist: more common symptoms include irritation or pain in the mouth or perianal area, nausea or vomiting; less common symptoms include diarrhea or light-colored, foul-smelling fatty stools or large amounts of gas (malabsorption syndrome), and rash. 3. Occasionally, allergic reactions occur. Long-term use can cause local skin atrophy, capillary dilation, pigmentation, and secondary infection.

It is contraindicated in patients with broken skin and severe renal insufficiency.
