Function and Efficacy
1. Antipyretic effect: inhibits fever caused by bacterial endotoxins and promotes the disappearance of fever. Fights irritability caused by fever and other reasons. 2. Anti-inflammatory effect: counteracts the increased capillary permeability caused by chemical irritants xylene and human inflammatory mediator histamine, so it can play a role in the initial stage of inflammation and inhibit the development of inflammation. 3. Viral effect: This product can occupy the DNA and protein binding sites during viral replication, prevent protein from encapsulating DNA fragments, and thus prevent the virus from replicating normally. This product has an inactivation effect on adenovirus type 3, influenza virus type A1, type A3, respiratory syncytial virus, etc. 4. Indication
Respiratory tract infections: toxic pneumonia, acute pharyngitis, tonsillitis, acute bronchitis; digestive tract infections: acute and chronic colitis, gastroenteritis, acute dysentery, acute and chronic viral hepatitis; urinary tract infections: acute pyelonephritis, cystitis, urinary tract infection; acute infections in children: viral upper respiratory tract infection, infant pneumonia, viral enteritis, mumps and high fever caused by various causes; others: herpes zoster, herpetic pharyngitis, viral myocarditis, otitis media, chronic rhinitis, sinusitis.
Usage and Dosage
For intravenous drip, dilute with 5% glucose injection or 5% glucose sodium chloride injection and drip 0.16-0.4g per day, 1-2 times a day. For children, reduce the dosage or follow the doctor's advice.
Adverse Reactions
There are few literature reports on the clinical application of indomethacin, and allergic reactions such as rashes are occasionally seen.
