This product is a semi-synthetic aminoglycoside antibiotic eye drops, which is stable to the aminoglycoside inactivating enzyme produced by bacteria. It is used to treat eye infections caused by sensitive bacteria such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. It can cut off the destructive effect of the aminoacylase of drug-resistant bacteria on drugs, and has a high efficacy against clinical drug-resistant bacteria.

The main ingredient of this product is amikacin, chemical name: O-3-amino-3-deoxy-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-[6-amino-6-deoxy-α-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)]-N′-(4-amino-2-hydroxy-1-oxybutyl)-2-deoxy-D-streptamine. Its structural formula is: Molecular formula: C22H43N5O13 Molecular weight: 585.61
