This product belongs to the benzamide antipsychotic drug, which has an inhibitory effect on the hyperfunction of dopaminergic nerves in the midbrain limbic system and an antagonistic effect on dopaminergic nerve movement disorders in the striatum, thereby producing a calming and sedative effect. It is characterized by its good effect on sensory and motor neurological diseases and psychomotor behavioral disorders. Animal experiments have confirmed that this product can block the conduction of pain impulses through the spinal thalamic tract to the reticular formation. The analgesic effect of this product may be related to the integration of pain impulses by the thalamus. In addition, it has an antiemetic effect.

The main ingredient of this product is siopride hydrochloride, and its chemical name is: N-[2-(diethylamino)ethyl-5-(methylsulfonyl)-o-methoxybenzamide hydrochloride.
