Naproxen Sodium Pseudoephedrine Sustained Release Tablets

This product is a compound preparation of naproxen sodium and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is an adrenergic drug that can constrict nasal mucosal blood vessels and relieve nasal congestion and runny nose symptoms; naproxen sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that may produce anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects mainly by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins.

This product is white or off-white tablets.

Used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, headache, fever, sore throat, joint and limb muscle aches, nasal congestion, runny nose, etc. caused by colds, allergic rhinitis, etc.

Oral, adults and adolescents over 12 years old, 1-2 tablets a day, do not crush or chew, do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours

Common adverse reactions of naproxen sodium include: (1) nausea, vomiting, indigestion, constipation, stomach burning sensation, stomach pain or discomfort, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, tinnitus, shortness of breath, dyspnea, asthma, skin itching, lower limb edema; (2) blurred vision or visual impairment, hearing loss, diarrhea, oral irritation or pain, palpitations, sweating, etc.; (3) occasional gastrointestinal bleeding, kidney damage, allergic rash, depression, muscle weakness, abnormal blood count, liver damage. Common adverse reactions of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride include: dry mouth, anorexia, insomnia, anxiety, tension, restlessness, tachycardia, palpitations, rapid desensitization may also occur, and recurrent pseudoscarlet fever and fixed drug eruptions may occur occasionally.

It is contraindicated for patients who are allergic to naproxen sodium (including other non-steroidal antipyretic analgesics) and/or pseudoephedrine hydrochloride; it is contraindicated for patients with angioedema induced by taking aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, asthma or nasal polyps, and active peptic ulcers.

Precautions for children: There is no data on the safety and effectiveness of this product for children under 12 years old; children under 12 years old should not take this product. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Unless the doctor specifically instructs, pregnant women are prohibited from using this product in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Because naproxen sodium and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride can be excreted from breast milk, lactating women should stop breastfeeding or stop using this drug. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly people should use it with caution.

1. Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride can reduce the antihypertensive effect of methyldopa and reserpine. 2. Monoamine oxidase inhibitors can increase the pressor effect of pseudoephedrine; propranolol and sympathetic nerve blockers can increase the toxicity of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. 3. Naproxen sodium is used in combination with anticoagulants such as heparin and dicoumarol to enhance the anticoagulant effect, which may cause bleeding tendency and may lead to gastrointestinal ulcers. 4. Taking naproxen sodium with salicylic acid preparations does not enhance the efficacy, but increases gastrointestinal adverse reactions. When drinking or other anti-inflammatory drugs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or glucocorticoids) are used together, gastrointestinal adverse reactions increase and there is a risk of ulcers. 5. When naproxen sodium is used together with probenecid, the blood concentration increases and T1/2 is prolonged, which can increase the efficacy, but the adverse reactions also increase accordingly. 6. Naproxen sodium can reduce the sodium excretion and antihypertensive effect of furancillin. 7. This product can inhibit the excretion of potassium from the body with urine, increasing the blood potassium concentration.

Sealed, stored in a cool (no more than 20℃) dry place

Each tablet contains 60mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and 110mg naproxen sodium
