Glycerol Fructose Injection

This product enters the whole body tissues through the blood, and its distribution reaches equilibrium in about 2-3 hours. It enters the cerebrospinal fluid and brain tissue slowly, and is also slowly cleared. Most of this product is metabolized into CO2 and water.

This product is a compound preparation, containing 10g glycerol, 5g fructose and 0.9g sodium chloride per 100ml.

It is used for symptoms such as acute and chronic increased intracranial pressure and cerebral edema caused by cerebrovascular disease, brain trauma, brain tumors, intracranial inflammation and other reasons.

For intravenous drip, adults usually take 250-500ml at a time, 1-2 times a day, 500ml for 2-3 hours, 250ml for 1-1.5 hours. The dosage can be increased or decreased according to age and symptoms.

1. Acidosis (incidence unknown): Lactic acidosis may occur and sodium bicarbonate injection should be given.

1. Patients with hereditary fructose intolerance are prohibited from using this product. 2. Patients who are allergic to any component of this product. 3. Patients with hypernatremia, anuria and severe dehydration.
