Function and Efficacy
1. Pharmacology: Squalene is a hydrocarbon composed of 6 isoprene double bonds and belongs to the terpenoid class of compounds. It participates in the biosynthesis of cholesterol and various biochemical reactions in the body, promotes biological oxidation and the body's metabolism, improves the body's defense function and stress capacity, accelerates the synthesis of steroid hormones, activates the activity of adenylate cyclase, and enhances the body's endurance and improves cardiac function. After taking squalene, the levels of ceruloplasmin and transferrin, as well as the activities of superoxide dismutase and lactate dehydrogenase, are all increased. Squalene also has the ability to increase the body's ability to utilize oxygen. 2.
