Indication
Used to relieve stomach pain, heartburn, and acid reflux caused by excessive stomach acid.
Usage and Dosage
Oral: 0.5-1.0g/time for adults, 0.1-1.0g/time for children, 3 times a day, take when in pain or before meals. Intravenous drip: 0.5ml/kg of 5% solution can increase CO2 binding capacity by 1% by volume, first give 1/2 of the total amount required by calculation. 100-200ml each time for adults, 5ml/kg for children. Vaginal washing or sitz bath: 4% solution, once a night, 500-1000ml each time, for 7 consecutive days.
Adverse Reactions
The carbon dioxide produced when neutralizing gastric acid may cause belching and secondary increase in gastric acid secretion.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: It is generally not used as an antacid for children under 6 years old. Because it is difficult for children to describe abdominal symptoms clearly, they may easily confuse the abdominal distension and abdominal pain caused by this product with other abdominal diseases. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: 1. Long-term or large-scale use can cause metabolic alkalosis, and excessive sodium load can cause edema, etc. Pregnant women should use it with caution. 2. This product can be secreted through breast milk, but there is no relevant information on its effects on infants. Precautions for the elderly: It is not clear yet.
Drug Interactions
1. This product can accelerate the excretion of acidic drugs (such as aspirin); 2. This product can reduce the efficacy of pepsin and vitamin E; 3. This product can enhance the efficacy of drugs that work better in alkaline urine (such as aminoglycoside antibiotics.
