Cucurbitacin Tablets

Function and Efficacy

This product can protect the liver and reduce enzymes, relieve jaundice, reduce serum alanine aminotransferase, and eliminate ascites. It improves protein metabolism, promotes liver cell regeneration, and prevents liver cell degeneration and liver cell necrosis. It has a certain effect on reversing cellular immune deficiency, stimulating cellular immune function, and inhibiting liver fibrosis. It can also inhibit the growth of tumor cells.

Ingredients

Cucurbitacin.m, (including cucurbitacin B.m,).

Appearance

This product is off-white tablets; bitter in taste.

Usage and Dosage

Oral. For chronic hepatitis, take 1 to 3 tablets at a time, 3 times a day, for three consecutive months as a course of treatment, after meals. Children should reduce the dosage. For primary liver cancer, take 2 to 4 tablets at a time, 3 times a day or as directed by a doctor, for three consecutive months as a course of treatment, after meals. Maximum dose: 6 tablets at a time.

Adverse Reactions

Some cases may experience mild gastrointestinal symptoms such as short-term dry mouth, dizziness, abdominal discomfort, nausea, mild diarrhea, etc. Some patients with ulcer disease may experience stomach pain, which generally does not affect the treatment after symptomatic treatment. Cucurbitacin may occasionally cause allergic symptoms, with dense red rashes and itching on the face and other parts of the body.

Precautions

Pregnant women and patients with severe gastrointestinal ulcers should not take it.
