Vitamin U Belladonna Aluminum Capsules Ⅲ

The aluminum hydroxide in this product is an antacid that can neutralize gastric acid and protect the ulcer surface; vitamin U can promote granulation development and mucosal regeneration; belladonna fluid extract can inhibit glandular secretion and relieve pain caused by smooth spasm.

This product is a compound preparation. Each tablet contains 140 mg of aluminum hydroxide, 50 mg of vitamin U (iodomethylmethionine), and 10 mg of belladonna extract.

This product is a capsule, and the contents are white or off-white powder.

It is used to relieve stomach pain, heartburn, and acid reflux caused by excessive stomach acid, and can also be used for chronic gastritis.

Oral administration: Adults take 1 capsule at a time, 3 times a day.

1 Long-term use in the elderly may lead to osteoporosis. 2 Rare eye pain, increased intraocular pressure, and rash. 3 This product may cause constipation. 4 Long-term use in patients with renal insufficiency may lead to aluminum accumulation poisoning and mental symptoms.

Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients may experience symptoms such as irritability, tremor, drowsiness or delirium at common doses, and are prone to antimuscarinic adverse reactions such as constipation, dry mouth and urinary retention (especially in men) and induce undiagnosed glaucoma. Elderly patients with weak intestinal relaxation or premonitions of paralytic intestinal obstruction are at risk of complete intestinal obstruction. Therefore, use with caution in elderly patients.

1 Avoid taking other drugs while taking this product, because aluminum hydroxide can combine with other drugs and affect the efficacy. 2 This product can weaken the effects of meproclopramide and domperidone, so it is not suitable to be taken together. 3 If this product needs to be used in combination with H2 receptor antagonists such as cimetidine, at least 1 hour interval is required. 4 This product can be taken with enteric-coated tablets to accelerate the dissolution of enteric-coated tablets, so they should not be used together. 5 If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur.
