Function and Efficacy
This product is an anticholinergic drug that can block the excitation of the iris, sphincter and ciliary muscles caused by acetylcholine. Its 0.5% solution can cause mydriasis; 1% solution can cause ciliary muscle paralysis and mydriasis.

Appearance
This product is a colorless clear liquid.
Indication
Used for eye drops to dilate the pupil and accommodate paralysis.
Usage and Dosage
Eye drops: 0.5% to 1% solution, one drop at a time, and the second drop after 5 minutes; 6ml: 15mg specification, use every night before going to bed. 1 to 2 drops at a time, can be used continuously for 1 to 3 months, stop using after vision is restored, and can be reused when vision fluctuates.
Adverse Reactions
The 0.5% solution of this product is dropped into the eye 1 to 2 times, and adverse reactions are rare with one drop each time. The 1% solution may produce temporary irritation symptoms. Because this product is a drug similar to atropine, it can cause a sharp increase in intraocular pressure in angle-closure glaucoma and may also stimulate undiagnosed angle-closure glaucoma.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with angle-closure glaucoma; infants and young children with brain damage, spastic paralysis and congenital idiocy syndrome should not use it as they have strong reactions.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Infants and young children are extremely sensitive to the adverse reactions of this product. After absorption of the drug, it may cause local eye skin flushing, dry mouth, etc. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Not yet clear. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly people are prone to atropine-like toxic reactions and may also induce undiagnosed angle-closure glaucoma. Once discovered, the drug should be discontinued immediately.
