Vitamin C tablets
Function and Efficacy
Vitamin C participates in many reactions in the body, such as participating in the redox process, and plays an important role in biological oxidation and reduction and cellular respiration. From the tissue level, the main role of vitamin C is related to the synthesis of intercellular matrix. Including collagen, the matrix of teeth and bones, and the junction between capillary endothelial cells. Therefore, when scurvy caused by vitamin C deficiency is accompanied by collagen synthesis defects, it manifests as difficult wound healing, impaired tooth formation and capillary damage causing a large number of ecchymosis points, which merge to form ecchymosis.
