Function and Efficacy

This product has no anti-cancer activity in vitro. Indication

Suitable for testicular cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, sarcoma, malignant lymphoma and lung cancer, etc.

Usage and Dosage

Single drug treatment: 1.2-2.5 g/m2 of body surface area per intravenous injection, 5 consecutive days as a course of treatment. Combination drug treatment: 1.2-2.0 g/m2 of body surface area per intravenous injection, 5 consecutive days as a course of treatment. There is a 3-4 week interval between each course of treatment. 500-600 mg/m2.

Adverse Reactions

1 Bone marrow suppression: Leukopenia is more common than thrombocytopenia, with the lowest value occurring 1 to 2 weeks after medication, and usually recovering after 2 to 3 weeks. It has an impact on liver function. Gastrointestinal reactions: including loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, which generally disappear after 1 to 3 days of discontinuation of medication. 2 Urinary tract reactions: can cause hemorrhagic cystitis, manifested as dysuria, frequent urination and painful urination, which may occur within a few hours or weeks after medication, and usually disappear within a few days after discontinuation of medication. 3 Central nervous system toxicity: related to dose, usually manifested as anxiety, confusion, hallucinations and fatigue. Syncope, epileptic seizures and even coma are rare. 4 Rarely, there is transient asymptomatic liver and kidney function abnormalities; if high doses are used, metabolic acidosis may occur due to renal toxicity. Cardiac and pulmonary toxicity is rare. 5 Other reactions include hair loss, nausea and vomiting. Phlebitis may occur at the injection site. 6 Long-term medication may produce immunosuppression, hypopituitarism, infertility and secondary tumors.

Precautions

It is contraindicated for patients with severe bone marrow suppression, those who are allergic to this product, and pregnant and lactating women.

Special Population Medication

Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated for use by pregnant and lactating women.

Drug Interactions

1. Patients who have previously received cisplatin may experience increased bone marrow suppression, neurotoxicity, and nephrotoxicity from ifosfamide. 2. Concurrent use of anticoagulants may lead to bleeding risk. 3. Concurrent use of hypoglycemic drugs may enhance the hypoglycemic effect. 4. When used in combination with other cytotoxic drugs, the dose should be reduced as appropriate.
