Function and Efficacy

This product is a third-generation extract of the effective ingredients of Chinese medicinal liquorice, which has strong anti-inflammatory, liver cell membrane protection and liver function improvement effects. Pharmacological experiments have shown that oral administration of mice can reduce the increase of serum alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase caused by carbon tetrachloride, thioacetamide and D-aminogalactic acid. It can also significantly reduce the morphological damage of D-aminogalactic acid to the liver and improve the chronic damage of immune factors to the liver morphology.

Ingredients

The main ingredient of this product is diammonium glycyrrhizinate. Its chemical name is 20β-carboxyl-11-oxo-12-oleanol-3β-ene-2-O-β-D-glucopyranosiduronic acid-α-D-glucopyranosiduronic acid diammonium salt.

Indication

This product is used for acute and chronic viral hepatitis accompanied by elevated alanine aminotransferase (ALT).

Usage and Dosage

For intravenous injection, 150 mg at a time, diluted with 250 ml of 10% glucose injection and slowly dripped, once a day.

Adverse Reactions

1. Digestive system: poor appetite, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal distension may occur. 2. Cardiovascular system: common headaches, dizziness, chest tightness, palpitations, and increased blood pressure. 3. Others: itchy skin, urticaria, dry mouth, and edema. The above symptoms are generally mild and do not affect treatment.

Precautions

1. It is contraindicated for patients with severe hypokalemia, hypernatremia, hypertension, heart failure, and renal failure; 2. The dosage and adverse reactions for newborns and infants have not yet been established, so this product should not be used for the time being; 3. It is not suitable for pregnant women.

Special Population Medication

Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: Not suitable for use by pregnant women.

Drug Interactions

When used in combination with diuretics such as uric acid, furosemide, ethiazide, trichloromethiazide, etc., the diuretic effect can enhance the potassium excretion effect of diammonium glycyrrhizinate contained in this product, resulting in a decrease in serum potassium values. Special attention should be paid to the determination of serum potassium values.
