Ticlopidine Hydrochloride Sustained Release Tablets
Function and Efficacy
Although this product has not been found to affect coagulation time, it is best to avoid using it in combination with anti-vitamin K drugs such as heparin or aspirin. If combined use is necessary, the patient must be followed up (prothrombin time, recalcification time, bleeding time, etc.).
Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product is ticlopidine hydrochloride. Its chemical name is 5-(2-chlorobenzyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydrothiophene[3,2-C]pyridine hydrochloride
Appearance
This product is white or off-white tablet.
Indication
Prevent and treat circulatory disorders of the heart, brain and other arteries caused by high platelet aggregation.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, once a day, one tablet each time, do not chew, and can be taken during meals to reduce gastrointestinal reactions.
Adverse Reactions
Occasionally, mild gastrointestinal reactions are seen. Rare reactions: nausea, diarrhea, rash, ecchymosis, gingival bleeding, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, bile obstructive jaundice, liver damage. All of the above adverse reactions disappear after discontinuation of the drug.
Precautions
1. Patients with hemophilia or other bleeding diseases, granulocytopenia or thrombocytopenia, ulcer disease and active bleeding should not use this drug. 2. Patients with severe liver damage often increase the risk of bleeding due to coagulation factor synthesis disorders, so this product should not be used.
Special Population Medication
Precautions during pregnancy and lactation: This product may cross the placenta and enter breast milk and should be avoided in pregnant and lactating women.
