Product Name Rutin Plant Source Flower bud of the Sophora Japonica L. Characteristic Yellow or yellow-green powder or very fine needle-like crystal, odorless, tasteless, in the air gradually becomes darker. Difficult to dissolve in cold water, soluble in hot water, hot methanol, cold methanol, hot ethanol, cold ethanol, cold pyridine, soluble in alkaline, and acid precipitation. Insoluble in other organic solvents.
