Styrene Butadiene Rubber, SBR for short, is Polymerized Styrene Butadiene Rubber. Styrene-butadiene rubber rubber industry is the backbone of the products, is one of the biggest general synthetic rubber varieties, and it is also one of the earliest industrializing production of synthetic rubber varieties.

According to the polymerization process, the styrene-butadiene rubber into emulsion poly styrene butadiene rubber (ESBR) and poly (styrene butadiene rubber (SSBR). Compared with soluble poly styrene butadiene rubber process, emulsion poly styrene butadiene rubber process in terms of cost savings is more dominant, about 75% of global styrene-butadiene rubber equipment capacity is based on emulsion poly styrene butadiene rubber process. Emulsion poly styrene butadiene rubber with good comprehensive performance, technology maturity, wide application, production capacity, output and consumption in styrene-butadiene rubber accounts for first place. Oil filled styrene butadiene rubber has good processability, low heat, low temperature as well as good flexibility, used in the tread rubber has excellent traction performance and wear resistance, when after the oil-extended rubber plasticity, easy mixing, can reduce cost at the same time, increase production. At present, the oil filled styrene butadiene rubber in the world about 50-60% of styrene butadiene rubber production.

By emulsion poly styrene butadiene rubber, butadiene, styrene as main monomers, match with other auxiliary chemical raw materials, to a certain process condition, the emulsion polymerization method by Mr ChengDing benzene mucilage, not after the conversion of monomer in removing mucilage, then through condensation, drying process and produce rubber products.
Soluble poly styrene butadiene rubber, by butadiene, styrene as the main monomer, in hydrocarbon solvents, using compound organic lithium as initiator, caused by anionic polymerization of polymer adhesive solution, after adding antioxidants and other additives, via condensation, drying process and produce the products such as glue.
