Multifunctional Additive HY-95
HY-95 is a multifunctional additive for latex paint. It can effectively control the pH value of the latex paint and provide excellent co-dispersing effect. HY-95 can significantly improve the overall performance of the coating and reduce the cost of paint. It is now widely used in various fields such as metal processing, paints, inks, adhesives, rubber, personal care, water treatment and so on.

Features
1. Substitution for ammonia, colorless and odorless.
2. Excellent ability to regulate pH with long-term stability and availability.
3. It can provide excellent co-dispersing effect and the amount of dispersant can be reduced.
4. It can improve the scrub resistance and water resistance of the film.
5. HY-95 eventually evaporates from the film and does not affect the film gloss.
6. It can enhance the thickening effect of the cellulose thickener.
7. It has excellent environmental performance. Because of its high boiling point, it will not result in increasement of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC).
Application and Dosage
A level of 0.05-0.3% calculated on the total quantity of the paint system is recommended. Users can adjust dosage. It can be added at grinding phase which can optimize the pigment dispersion effect, decrease dosage of dispersant and reduce the foam. It can also be added at the feed stage which can effectively control the pH value and improve the performance of the thickener, and therefore reduce the smell of paint and improve the storage stability of latex paint.
Package and Storage
25kg or 200kg plastic drum.
It should be stored in closed containers in a dry and cool place.
If not used up, tight the lid to prevent volatilization.
