Product UsageTitanium dioxide is the most important white pigment used in the coatings industry. TiO2 is unique. It combines high refractive index with high scattering power in the visible region of the spectrum. It thereby imparts whiteness and opacity when incorporated into a coating.
This combination affords the coatings formulator a route to highly opaque and bright whites or tints at minimum film thicknesses. HUTONG offers rutile pigments in various grades, each delivering excellent performance properties for the type of paint or coating being manufactured – i.e., high chalk resistance with extreme durability for exterior paints and coatings, or low abrasion and high opacity in inks.
Key Applications
Industrial Coatings
Powder Coatings
Low-VOC Systems
UV Coatings
Coil Coatings
Can Coatings
Marine Coatings
Automobile Coatings
Wood Protecting
Emulsion Paints, interior and exterior
Decorative CoatingsPlastic
Titanium dioxide rutile is the most important white pigment used in the plastics industry. TiO2 is unique. It combines high refractive index with high scattering power in
the visible region of the spectrum. It thereby imparts whiteness and opacity when incorporated into plastics, as well as providing high durability.
Key Applications
PVC
Polyolefins
Polystyrene
Polycarbonates
Other Engineering PlasticsMeanwhile Hutong markets a range of titanium dioxide pigment grades with a brighter appearance that is often preferred by manufacturers of coatings, plastics, papers etc. Please contact our sales for future information.

FAQPlease take note of following information:
1) Are you manufacturer or trader?
We are manufacturer of our own materials but also trade related other chemical raw materials if customer need.
2) Is it ok to be your exclusive agent in our own country?
Sure. We welcome every client or trader to be our agent but for the non-cooperated customer,
we should check their distribution ability in their market for a period of time (mostly 6 months),
or we can cooperate for few orders then go on agent talking. And we will promise that we will
keep final customers confidential, also transfer commissions on time.
3) Do you like to be the Chinese purchase agent for us?
Yes. We can do your Chinese purchase agent on these two kinds of way:
a. Exported under our own name" Qingdao Quanhutong Industrial Co., Ltd" then add commissions on price.
b. Help to find supplier or factory. We sign contract with them for your side.
Payment can be transferred to us then we deduct commissions & pay for factory.
In that case, materials can be directly shipped by factory.
What’s more, we can also help to solve currency problem.
4) Can you supply free samples?
Yes, its ok for us to supply small quantity free samples but freight should be paid by clients.
Four ways to pay for freight:
a. Giving DHL, Fedex, UPS, TNT etc. international express account no.
b. Asking your local international courier to fetch samples from us.
c. Transferring freight to our bank then we use our DHL or TNT account to send samples.
d. If you have Chinese friends or partner, freight will be free to them.
Or if you have chances to visit China, samples can be sent to your hotel freely.
All samples to our domestic places are free.
5) Will you arrange factory visiting if we want?
We welcome but for cooperated customers will be considered priority, 2-3 people will be ok.
6) Whats kind of payment term in your company?
Mostly we can accept TT and LC.
For TT, its ok to do: a. 100% TT in advance (highly appreciated)
b.50%TT in advance+50% TT against BL copy.
c.30% TT in advance+70% TT against BL copy.
If trade term is FOB, agent is indicated by customer then payment should be 100% TT in advance.
For LC, we can do LC at sight & LC 30 days. For longer time LC which need to be negotiated with
sales individually.
7) Why do not accept DP and CAD?
Because of our previous bad experiences with some customers, we lose not only materials & all payment
of goods.

Our Company Qingdao Quanhutong Industrial Co., Ltd is a Chinese leader in the mining, production and marketing of Titanium Dioxide(TiO2). The company operates two vertically integrated plant: rutile and anatase, with annual production capacity of over 120,000 tons. We also operate our own ilmenite mine – a key raw material in the TiO2 pigment production process, sulfuric acid plant, titanium slag factory. All of our manufacturing facilities are ISO-certified, and we go above and beyond traditional methods to rigorously test and ensure delivery of the highest quality pigments for the most satisfied customers. What we do We take pride in making the world brighter with the most effective whitening agent in the world – titanium dioxide. This inorganic compound pigment makes hundreds of things white – from your computer mouse to the paint on your wall. Paper, toothpaste, sunscreen, cosmetics and just about any other commonplace item colored white contains TiO2. Hutong markets a range of titanium dioxide pigment grades with a brighter appearance that is often preferred by manufacturers of coatings, plastics, papers etc. Hutong is among the lowest-cost producers of the product globally. This is of particular importance as it positions Hutong to be competitive through all facets of the TiO2 cycle.
