Jietonda® K7233
Matting hardener for hybrid powder coatings
Jietonda® K7233 is a wax-free,synthetic resin based matting hardener designed for hybrid powder coatings to provide 3-40%(60°) of gloss. Powder Coatings formulated with K7233 has excellent impact resistance, surface hardness and scratch resistance.

2. Characteristics
l Excellent matting finish with fine smooth flow,gloss as low as 3%(60°) or lower.
l Reaction with binder,much stronger film hardness and scratch resistance.
l With reaction group,strengthen the film adhesion.
l Wide range of applicability to polyester resins.
3. Use method & levels
l Premix K7233 with other components of the formula before extrusion.
l The use level is1-5% by weight based on total formula,depends on the gloss required.
l K7233 reacts with epoxy resin,the ratio of K7233/Epoxy is 1:2.3-2.5
4. Package & Storage
l Packaging with PE lined Kraft paper bags. Net weight 25kg per bag.
l Store in temperature between 2-32℃ or cool dry place. Keep away from heat and fire.
l Based on our experience the shelf life of this product under above conditions is at least 2 years.
5. Advisement
l Choose proper accelerator or catalyst to improve the impact resistance, but this will result in unexpected gloss up or worsen the surface leveling.
