DescriptionFolic acid is made up of pteridine, p-aminobenzoic acid and l-glutamic acid, also known as pteroylglutamic acid, which is one of the B vitamins. It was named after it was discovered: vitamin M, vitamin Bc, R factor, etc. In 1941, it was named folic acid because it was found in spinach. Folic acid is rich in fresh fruits, vegetables and meat. If folic acid is cooked over a long period of time, it can lose between 50% and 90%. Folic acid is absorbed mainly in duodenal and proximal jejunum. The amount of folic acid in human body is 5 ~ 20mg.
