Ammonium Bicarbonate is a white compound chemical, it is pearls or columnar crystal. As Ammonium bicarbonate is a kind of carbonate salt, it cannot be put together with acid. The acid will take reaction with Ammonium Bicarbonate, causing carbon dioxide. That will make Ammonium Bicarbonate goes bad. There is an ammonium ion in Ammonium Bicarbonate, it is a kind of ammonium salt. Ammonium salt cannot be put together with alkali, so Ammonium Bicarbonate cannot be put together with sodium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide.
