Used in anti-rust oil (fat) products, mostly used in copper and copper alloy vapor phase corrosion inhibitor circulating water treatment agent, automobile antifreeze, photographic antifogging agent, polymer stabilizer, plant growth regulator, lubricant additive , UV absorbers, etc. This product can also be used in conjunction with a variety of scale inhibitors, bactericidal and algae-killing agents.
It is widely used for corrosion and rust prevention of copper and silver equipment. It can also be used in the preparation of photographic dust-proof, anti-fogging agent and vapor phase anti-rust agent.
In electroplating, it is used to purify silver, copper and zinc on the surface to prevent discoloration. Benzotriazole (BTA) forms covalent bonds and coordination bonds with copper atoms, which replace each other to form a chain polymer, forming a multi-layer protective film on the copper surface, so that the surface of the copper does not undergo oxidation-reduction reactions. Hydrogen is generated, which acts as an anti-corrosion. It also has the same effect on metal materials such as lead, cast iron, nickel, and zinc. BTA can be combined with a variety of corrosion inhibitors to improve the corrosion inhibition effect.
