PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
Chlorosulfonated polyethylene(CSM) is a special synthetic rubber prepared by chlorination and sulfonation of polyethylene at the same time. It has a fully saturated main chain and side group,and can be vulcanized by metal oxide, sulfur, polyol, peroxide and other vulcanization systems.It is suitable for vulcanization by various vulcanization molding methods. Because of this structure, CSM has many characteristics in the rubber industry, including:
Excellent ozone resistance and weather resistance;
.Good reilience;
Corrosion resistance to many chemicals;
Moderate oil and solvent resistance;
Good flame resistance;
Excellent friction resistance and mechanical damage resistance.

CONSTRUCTION
CSM is used for caulking agents, surface layer of PU foam, insulation materials, foam products, heat insulation tapes, etc. The heat insulation tapes made of CSM has excellent waterproof, heat insulation and anti ultraviolet characteristics. It maintains thermal plasticity in the process of roof construc-tion, and can be bonded together by heating to make it overlap with each other.
RUBBER ROLLERS
CSMrollers have good aging resistance, ozone resistance, chemical corosion resistance and high temperature resistance, and are widely used in special felds.
WATERPROOFING ROLL
The waterproofing material made of CSM has outstanding properties of ozone resistance, UV resistance, weather aging resistance, high elongation, good elasticity, excellent flame retardancy,good performance at high and low temperature. The rolls can be used for along time in the range of-29 C～90 C, and can maintain good flexibility, good corrosion resistance, excellent resistance to acid, alkali salt and other chemicals;CSM has good coloring performance, can make color waterproof which is not easy to fade,The roll made of CSM can be used for cold construction with ittle pollution and simple proceS.
OTHERS
CSM can also be widely used in rubber boats, elevator handrails,synchronous belts,conveyor belts,raincoats, chemical resistant gloves, adhesives, weather resistant anticorrosive coatings and other fields.

AUTOMOBILE PARTS
CSM can be used in automotive air conditioning hoses, hydraulic hoses, exhaust hoses, fuel hoses, automotive steering power pipes, vacum hose, spark plug caps and ignition wires, etc.
WIRES &CABLES
CSM has excellent wear resistance, heat resistance, low water absorption, sun resistance, ozone resistance, corona resistance, etc., which can be used for the sheath of wires and cables: it has good color stability under hiah temperature conditions and UV resistance
which can be used to make the outer sheath of color cables. The cables with CSM sheath can meet the requirements of IEEE standard and has been used in nuclear power plants.
HOSES
CSM has excellent chemical resistance and low permeability to water and fluorinated cold aging agent. It is often designated as all kinds of air conditioning hose materials, liquefied petroleum gas hoses, chemical resistant hoses, etc.
WATERPROOF TAPES
CSM has the characteristics of natural vulcanization and anti microbial growth. It is often made into reinforced waterproofing tapes, which is used for bridge cables, reservoir water storage, river levee, roof waterproofing, etc. At the same time. it has good chemical resistance, which makes it more widely used in the water treatment tank of chemical industry.
