2.Physico-chemical Properties

This product is a colorless transparent liquid with boiling point of 35℃, flash point of-32℃ (closed cup), melting point of-117℃, density of 0.868 g/mL (25℃), and refractive index of 1.3777 (20℃).Has a pleasant smell, mixed with ethanol and ether, soluble in benzene and chloroform, and slightly soluble in water.

4. Characteristics and uses

Chloroisopropane can be used in pesticide intermediates, organic synthetic raw materials, solvents, etc.In pesticides, 2-chloropropane is the intermediate of fungicide rust amide, fluamide, insecticide cyanomethrin, fenthiomethrin, residue killing, herbicide toxoxamide, salpalum phosphorus.The main use is for isoamine manufacturing.
