3. Transportation Conditions

The transportation vehicle should be equipped with corresponding kinds and amount of fire-fighting device and emergency response device while transporting. It is better to transport in the morning or evening during summer. The tank truck used for transportation should be equipped with grounding chain with orifice plate installed in tank to mitigate the static electricity generation resulted from vibration. Do not load and transport it by mixing with oxidant, acid, food chemicals. No exposure to sunlight, rain and high temperature during transportation. Keep away from fire source, heat source and high temperature area during stopover. The vehicle shipped with this product should be equipped with fire-retardant device in vent-pipe. Mechanical equipment and device which can generate spark easily are forbidden for loading and unloading service. Road transportation shall follow the designated route. Do not stay in residential area and densely populated district.

4. Storage Conditions

Keep storage tanks far away from fire source and heat source. 1-hexene should be stored separately from oxidant and acids. It is recommended to use nitrogen to seal the tanks in order to avoid any contact with air during storage. Use explosion-proof lighting and ventilation equipment in storage area. Mechanical equipment and device which can generate spark easily are forbidden. Emergency response device and proper handling materials in case of leakage shall be equipped.
