Lincomycin hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder; slightly odor or special odor; bitter taste. Lincomycin hydrochloride is soluble in water or methanol, but slightly soluble in ethanol.

Use

Lincomycin hydrochloride is a narrow-spectrum antibiotic with similar effects to erythromycin. It has a good effect on gram-positive cocci, especially anaerobic bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus and pneumococcus. Its mechanism of action is similar to that of erythromycin and is a bacteriostatic agent.

Lincomycin hydrochloride mainly inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell protein, and is mainly used clinically for various infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as pneumonia, meningitis, endocarditis, cellulitis, tonsillitis, erysipelas, furuncle and urinary system infections Wait.
