Description

Calcium propionate is a safe and reliable mould inhibitor for food and feed approved by the World Health Organization (who) and the food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Calcium propionate, like other fats, can be absorbed by humans and animals through metabolism and provide necessary calcium for humans and animals. This advantage is unmatched by other fungicides and is considered gras.
Calcium propionate is a white crystalline particle or crystalline powder. Odorless or slightly propionic acid smell, hygroscopic, easily soluble in water and insoluble in alcohols.

Applications

1. It is a new and safe, efficient and broad-spectrum anti mildew agent for food and feed .
2. Calcium propionate as feed additive can effectively inhibit feed mildew and prolong feed storage life. If combined with other inorganic salts, it can also improve the appetite of livestock and improve the milk yield of dairy cows. Calcium propionate has the advantages of low volatility, high temperature resistance and good animal adaptability. It is suitable for a variety of feeds.
3. A new feed additive, mainly used as an anti mildew agent, which can prolong the fresh-keeping period of feed. It can also inhibit the production of aflatoxin, which is harmless to yeast, human and livestock, and has no toxic and side effects. It can also be used as a food preservative.
