Description: The calcium salt of L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate belongs to the folic acid family vitamins (vitamin B9, folic acid), which is a coenzyme form of folic acid. l-5-methyltetrahydrofolate calcium (5-mthf), is the naturally occurring salt-forming methyl derivative form of folic acid, 5-mthf is also known as L-methylfolate, it is the most biologically active and functional form of folic acid form, which is more easily absorbed than regular folic acid.
