Description

Chitosan is derived from chitin in the shells of lower animals and plants that are widely present in nature, such as arthropods (shrimp, crab), by adding alkali and heating for deacetylation. This product is non-toxic to the human body and will not cause secondary pollution to the environment. Therefore, it has a wide range of uses in water treatment, food, medicine and agriculture. In water treatment, it is mainly used as polyelectrolyte coagulant, sludge dewatering aid and water purifier.
